My BackgroundMy name is Dianne Williams.
I have been in practice as a property lawyer for over 20 years and am a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Law Society of New South Wales.
After working with some smaller practices initially to gain some practical experience after finishing university, I established my own property law practice in 1993.
Initially, I operated totally on my own from a room converted to an office in my own home. I now have a team of four staff and together we run a busy property law practice which has a significant share of the local real estate market as well as a larger network of clients in two Australian states.
Throughout the changes to my practice, my philosophy has remained the same.
That is, to provide a high level of personal service to our clients and to do our best to achieve the right result. I have found that personal and professional attention and service is the key and we strive to provide this at a competitive price.
We believe in treating our clients as people in the same manner in which we expect to be treated as clients. Our office environment is professional but at the same time, friendly and relaxed. As a result, we find our clients do not feel intimidated and feel confident in the manner in which we act on their behalf. Consequently, we have numerous long standing clients, many of which were some of my first clients and for whom I still continue to act. I believe, that this client loyalty is the best measure of the success of our practice. My VisionMy vision for this site is to provide a wealth of useful information for home buyers, whether buying for the first time or not and to provide information for our clients and other visitors easily accessible outside of our office hours. What I wanted to create was a type of “one-stop-shop” for home buyers containing answers to frequently asked questions, discussion on current real estate topics as well as useful links, resources and products. The site will continue to be a work in progress with articles and information updated and added regularly. From my experience I knew that it does not matter where you live or what sort of property you wish to buy, the basic steps in the procedure to follow when dealing with property are the same and the basic questions are often the same – the only difference in the process may be the documentation, the type of property or the laws of the particular locality. As a result, I realized that my site could provide information not just about our local area but about buying property no matter where the person lived. I hope to be able to offer some answers and if not provide other links and resources for my visitors to be able to find the information they need. For some time I have had the concept of the sort of website I wanted to create taking shape in my mind and finally now I have been able realize that dream!
